Andrew has worked in the air transport industry technology sector since graduating from university in 1988 with a degree in Electronics and Information Engineering. In his early career he was an Electronic Design Engineer before migrating to Software Design and Development in the 1990s. Since the early 2000s he has progressed to more business-oriented roles.
Andrew joined SITA in 2010, based in London. Since then he has held several roles, having initially been responsible for SITA’s Common-Use solutions (CUTE/CUSS/CUPPS). Following this, Andrew took on responsibility for a wider set of SITA’s Airport Portfolio, and then SITA’s Airline and Border Management (Government) offerings. Today, Andrew runs a group responsible for Portfolio Innovation, growing SITA’s participation in new areas as well as focusing on partnerships and acquisition opportunities.
Andrew has participated in many industry bodies and think tanks and has been a regular speaker at industry events and conferences. He is passionate about the aviation industry and has acquired a wealth of domain knowledge throughout his career.
