International registry of mobile assets

The basis for the International Registry of Mobile Assets is the Cape Town Treaty, an international treaty adopted in 2001 by ICAO and UNIDROIT. This treaty facilitates financing, leasing, and sale of aircraft, engines, and helicopters, including through the electronic registration of financial interests in one global registry.

To date, more than 77 countries have ratified the treaty, with more expected to do so over the next few years. Aviareto has operated the registry since 2006.

CHAMP’s success as a partner of choice for the air cargo community is underlined by its wide customer base across this supply chain. By the end of 2019, that included more than 200 airlines, General Sales Agents and General Handling Agents, and 3000 connected forwarders.

These customers are served by CHAMP’s capabilities in providing cargo management applications for carriers, forwarders, handlers, and general sales agents.

CHAMP’s solutions include Cargospot, a comprehensive suite of air cargo IT solutions. In addition, the company provides regulatory compliance solutions Traxon Global Customs and Traxon Global Security.
