Mahesh Sogal
Vice-President IT Strategy, Transformation & International Technology, Delta Air Lines
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Mahesh joined Delta in 2016. In his current role, he reports to the CIO and his focus areas are strategy, transformation, global delivery, and organizational change management. He also serves as the technology leader for Delta’s international business and handles the organization's strategic technology partnerships.
Mahesh established the DAL Global Technology Hub LLP, a wholly-owned subsidiary in India with 450+ employees delivering technology services to the airline, for which he is Managing Director & Designated Partner
He led, together with Delta’s CTO, a multi-year US$300m program to move the Delta technology footprint to the public cloud.
Prior to joining Delta, Mahesh was working in the financial and investment services sector for more than a decade, in the area of digital strategy and initiatives. His last role in that sector was Head of Digital Business Operations & Analytics with AIG (American International Group, a multi-national finance and insurance corporation).
